Out Of This World Rolls

2 packages yeast
1/4 cup warm water
3 eggs

1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup warm water
2 teaspoons salt
4 1/2 cups flour- divided

Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water.

add well beaten eggs, shortening, sugar, 1 cup warm water, salt and 1 1/2
cups flour.
Let rise a little while then add rest of flour and knead until smooth and
elastic. Refrigerate for up to a week.
Remove from fridge and let rise (about 3 hours), punch down.
Shape into rolls or buns and let rise.
Bake at 400 12-15 minutes
